Differences in satisfaction of scaling and oral health knowledge, care depending on benefit of National Health Insurance about scaling

Abstract
Objectives: The purpose of this study was to investigate oral health knowledge, care, satisfaction according to National Health Insurance benefits about scaling. In order to improve the quality of life, it is necessary to develop basic data so that the scaling benefit project can be a social system to improve the quality of life in the long term.

Methods: The collected data were analyzed by SPSS 18.0 according to the study purpose and the following statistical analysis was based on the significance level 0.05. The used statistical method is frequency analysis, descriptive statistics and one-way ANOVA.

Results: The recognition of the date of applying scaling insurance was revealed the number of non-insured 24 persons(15.1%) and insured persons 135 persons(84.9%). ¡®The no answer¡¯ about the satisfaction of scaling was 100.0%. The knowledge score for the removal of scaling by National Health Insurance benefits shows that the average knowledge score of the general benefactor¡¯s scaling is higher than that of the uninsured. The interest score for scaling to insured persons was higher than the uninsured for interest score the average.

Conclusions: It will be necessary to continue research on how to provide high quality treatment and services to the insurance beneficiaries in order to provide scaling, and to find out what is not satisfactory, and furthermore, It will be necessary to change to a preventive project aiming at dental hygiene.
